| A thriving Junior Section has over 50 members during 2007. We have a section for the younger players called the "Craythorne Colts" which is for the under 10's.
We have recently achieved the Sport England Clubmark for Juniors and was the first club in the Midlands to get the award. This shows the great commitment we have to Junior golf at The Craythorne There is a full programme of competitions and all juniors who achieve a CONGU handicap of 28 are able to play in Senior events..
We are building links with local schools tthrough East Staffs Borough Council to give all the advantage of playing our great game The Craythorne play matches during the summer against other clubs and also internal matches are arranged with our Ladies and Senior sections. There is FREE coaching which is sponsored by donations from all senior members of the Club. |
